Impressions of Chioggia, Italy

Chioggia is a little fishing town near Venice. It's a delightful and bustling place to visit, built around canals and boats similar to Venice, minus the bus loads of tourists. Here are a few impressions from a walk down the streets of Chioggia on a blistering hot summer day - of laundry and colourful buildings, of calles (narrow alleys) and narrow doorways, and of daily life.

A lovely place to visit and a good alternative to Venice the next time you are in Italy.
